Jeremy and Bethanne are getting Married this September and I had the pleasure of taking their engagement photographs today. The day started out with a questionable forecast and rained off and on through the morning hours though I kept my fingers crossed for a clearing. Early in the afternoon we met at St. Mary’s College | Notre Dame, IN. and I could not have been more pleased with the slightly overcast sky.
We then proceded to Leeper Park in Downtown South Bend and continued our photography excursion. What a great couple! I wish them a long and healthy mariage and look forward to being part of their wedding day!

After the wedding ceremony we were able to go to St. Mary’s College on the campus of Notre Dame for some gorgeous bridal party group photographs. It was a gorgeous day for an outside wedding, in the garden of the Hilton Garden Inn, on the campus of St Mary’s, in Notre Dame Indiana. Our bride Jessica was gorgeous and the groom, Johnny was beaming! Wedding photography is easy when your couple are so photogenic from being in love and here at Contemporary Images we loved working with this bride and groom on their wedding photography!
The wedding ceremony was held outside in the courtyard of the Hilton Garden Inn and we had plenty of time before and after for a fun photo walk around Saint Mary’s beautiful campus. The reception took place in the beautiful Gillespie Center Ballroom in the Hilton Garden Inn. The bride and groom had a candy table buffet as large as a candy store. There was also a photo-booth and a hot dog stand! This was easily one of the most entertaining wedding receptions I have ever photographed in Michiana!

Brad and Jackie Briggs were married this past summer at Christiana Creek Country Club in Elkhart, IN. WHAT A GORGEOUS DAY FOR A WEDDING! Christiana Creek’s banquet rooms are cozy with an emphasis on detail and elegance. In all my years as a wedding photographer, I have never heard a better DJ. His songs seamlessly transitioned together like pure magic! He brought the guests out to the dance floor with excitement and vigor! The wedding cake was brought all the way in from Valparaiso courtesy Strongbow Bakery. This cake tasted and looked phenomenal! The Scottish Rite in downtown South Bend, has one of the most beautiful halls in which to have your wedding ceremony. Part theater, part church like, it is just gorgeous inside. The Scottish Rite is where this featured wedding and reception took place and Contemporary Images had the honor of doing the wedding photography. The bride and groom are the new Mr & Mrs Ullery.
It was a lovely day for a wedding in downtown South Bend and our bride and groom had decided that after the wedding ceremony to tour the downtown South Bend, for their post wedding ceremony photo sessions. One of the landmarks our bride & groom visited for their photography session was the Morris performing Arts Center and we captured the beautiful picture below.
The reception took place in the banquet hall of the Scottish Rite, where the DJ kept the night fun and lively.
